Processed under Zero Data Retention.

Intelligence is optional. AI calls use Zero Data Retention with training disabled. Mail is encrypted for transfer and storage, then temporarily decrypted for the processing you permit. Completed results are encrypted for your device and kept for download for up to 24 hours; Wino cannot decrypt those stored results or reuse them for advertising or training.

Is my email stored or used to train AI models?

Your mail is not used to train AI models. AI calls use Zero Data Retention. Wino temporarily stores encrypted uploads while processing a job, then removes them when the job finishes. Completed results are encrypted for your device and kept for download for up to 24 hours, or deleted earlier once the app confirms receipt.

Is Wino Intelligence a subscription?

Yes. It is billed as a recurring subscription tied to your Wino Account, and you can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Wino Mail itself stays free.

What are the monthly allowances?

2,500 classifications, and 100 each for translation, summaries, and rewrites, per month. Daily Briefing is built from your classifications and does not use a separate allowance.

Does purchasing Intelligence process my mail automatically?

No. Nothing is processed until you accept the separate Intelligence permission in Wino Mail and enable at least one mailbox. Classification then runs on incoming mail for those mailboxes; translation, summaries, and rewrites run only when you ask.

Which mailboxes does it work with?

Any account you connect to Wino Mail—Outlook, Gmail, or regular IMAP. You choose which mailboxes and folders are included, and up to 10 mailboxes can be enabled.

Can I use Wino Mail without Intelligence?

Yes. Intelligence is optional. Wino Mail keeps working if you never enable it, pause a mailbox, or withdraw permission later.
